Hull Shield's Pro Series meets the demand for more powerful and robust ultrasonic anti-fouling solutions. The Pro Series protects hulls, sea chests, strainers, keel coolers, box coolers and more. When using the Hull Shield Pro Series, maritime operators enjoy the benefits of reduced fuel consumption, lower emissions, improved performance, extended service intervals, and increased asset lifespan. The Pro Series anti-fouling systems work 24/7 to prevent biofouling from developing.

Biofouling’s negative impact on fuel consumption is significant.  Sky- rocketing operating costs and drastic increases in GHG emissions are a direct result of biofouling.  According to an IMO report, even slight micro-fouling can result in a 25-30% increase in GHG emissions.  Severe macro-fouling such as barnacles can increase GHG emissions by up to 55%. Hull Shield helps keep you on target, consistently meeting operational and environmental KPIs

BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY

As an industry first, Hull Shield has introduced Bluetooth connectivity with the PRO system. We understand that accessing the data to your battery and your PRO systems are vital. Due to this, we have allowed our systems to connect directly to you smart devices to monitor your PRO units.

Effective Power

Pro Series transducers are built for industrial applications. When compared to traditional systems, the difference becomes clear. Pro Series transducers produce more effective power, significantly increasing their effective range. Increased range means less transducers for big jobs.

How It Works

Hull Shield technology protects marine surfaces from the effects of biofouling. Our ultrasonic systems use ultrasound to limit and restrict the ability of microorganisms to attach to surfaces that are exposed to water. Ultrasonic waves are transmitted through these surfaces to create an ultra-thin layer of high pressure between the protected surface and the surrounding water. This area of high pressure prevents microorganisms from attaching.
