Shipping & Returns

*free shipping applies to US Domestic orders in the lower 48 states, economy shipping (either USPS or Fedex Ground).  Non lower-48 states and International orders and oversized items do not qualify for free shipping.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories qualify for free shipping with orders over $400.  Orders under $400 will receive a flat rate shipping. Over-sized items do not qualify for free or flat rate shipping and will receive quoted shipping.  We can ship FedEx, UPS, or US Postal Service Priority Mail and we will do the best to provide the least expensive shipping method.

International Shipments are subject to local custom tariffs in your country.  We do not calculate or collect these tariffs.  Your local government will collect these tariffs prior to delivery.  Some International shipments are restricted by size and weight, and may require additional shipping fees beyond what our online system has charged.  These additional shipping fees will be quoted for your approval prior to shipment.  Example: A heavy cast net or long rod or outrigger box shipping to a rural or isolated area in your country will require additional shipping charges.

Return Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund for the amount that was paid for the returned item(s).  On returned items, you will receive the amount that you paid minus the actual shipping costs incurred by Alltackle.com to ship the item to you. We do not pay for returned shipping.

If we made an error, we will pay the return shipping costs.  (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Certain products such as inflatable, electrical, and bio-degradable products cannot be returned.  All sales are final.  Any claims must be made with the individual manufacturer.

You should expect to receive your refund within one to two days of receiving your return.  This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (typically 1 to 5 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (2 to 4 business days).

Returned Items may be subject to a 20% restocking fee, however, we typically do not charge a restock fee on normally stocked items.  Special order items will be charged a 20% restock fee in most cases.  Items returned after 60 days will be subject to a 20% restock fee and will receive store credit only.

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Electronics

All electronics sales are final and returns will not be accepted.

Canceled Orders

Canceled orders will be refunded in full, if canceled prior to shipment.  If the order is canceled after shipment, the shipping cost will not be refunded and the return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.  Canceled special orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Paypal Payment Refunds

Beginning January 1, 2020, There is a 3% fee for Paypal refunds for canceled orders.  This fee will be deducted from refunds for Paypal paid orders.  Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express paid orders are not subject to this fee.

All refunds involving Paypal payment must occur within 180 days of original transaction date.

Shipping

We ship internationally. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate the shipping costs and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.  For multiple item and/or oversized orders, the shipping costs may exceed what our online system charged.  In these cases, we will provide a shipping quote for your approval.  This is especially true for International orders.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Freight Forwarders:

We will not ship to a freight forwarder without verified payments such as wire transfer or Verified Paypal payment o an eligible address.

Responsibility for Stolen Packages:

Alltackle.com takes no responsibility if your package is stolen after proper delivery by Fedex, UPS, US Postal Service or any other reputable delivery company.  We consider the package properly delivered if the provided tracking information indicates delivery to the address provided by you on your order.  If your shipping address is located in an area that experiences Porch Piracy, we suggest you add a Signature Requirement when placing your order.  If your package is stolen or comes up missing prior to final delivery, a claim will be filed with the shipping company in an attempt to recover the value of the goods.

What to do if a package is stolen from your porch

If your mail was stolen, follow these steps to be reimbursed or to receive a replacement item.

Step 1: Track the package

If you suspect your package was stolen, the first thing you should do is check your purchase confirmation email for tracking information. Typically, you will receive a tracking number that you can use to track the item's shipping status. Sometimes all you need to do is click this number or button, but other times, you may need to copy the number and enter it on the website of the retailer or shipping company.

It's normal for shipments to face delays, especially during peak shipping seasons such as the holidays. The shipping status will show you where your package was last registered or the date it was delivered.

If the item is listed as having been delivered, continue to step 2.

Step 2: Check if your neighbors saw it or held onto it for you

If you've verified that the item was delivered, check with your neighbors. It’s embarrassing to unleash your wrath on a customer support representative, only to discover the kind lady next door saw your package and took it in order to prevent it from getting stolen or rained on. Even if they don't have your package, your neighbors might have seen it earlier in the day.

Step 3: Contact Alltackle

If you feel your package was stolen, please let us know by sending an email to Alltackle@aol.com.  We will investigate the issue and respond with a potential solution.  Again, if the tracking information indicates proper delivery, we cannot take responsibility for covering the theft.

Step 4: File a claim with the shipping company

If you encounter this scenario, you might want to file a claim with the shipping company as well. UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL all provide an online claims process to report your missing item, and you can also contact them by phone.

Step 5: Use the purchase protection features on your credit card

Many credit cards offer purchase protection that will reimburse you for stolen items — as long as the item was purchased entirely with that credit card and the card issuer is notified within a specified timeframe. Check your credit card provider's website to check for this coverage and to file a claim.

Unfortunately, some credit card companies exclude coverage for high-value items (typically anything worth over $500 to $1,000). Some may require you to file a police report before they'll offer a refund. Finally, credit card purchase protection is often defined as secondary coverage, which means it only kicks in after you've already utilized primary coverage such as homeowners or renters insurance. That brings us to step six.

Step 6: Claim high-value items with your homeowners insurance

Most homeowners or renters insurance policies cover stolen packages. Unfortunately, this is only helpful for purchases that are worth more than your deductible.

Given that most homeowners insurance deductibles run between $500 to $2,000, filing a claim won’t make sense for most stolen packages. Even if the lost item is more than the deductible, you’ll need to weigh the possibility of your homeowners insurance company increasing your premiums due to your claim, not to mention the hassle of filing the claim itself.
