The R2 Patent-pending Outrigger/Downrigger clips are a mirrored set of port and starboard clips.The R2s feature an innovative improvement over the traditional outrigger release clips. Each clip features a super-tough and easily adjustable tension screw which can be used to troll baits as small as dink balao and as big as Australian marlin baits.
These clips can lift at least 20 pounds off the ground. (Caution: Over-tightening can bend a rigger.) The hand polished release wire is heavy gauge so that line can be placed in it without a ring. These clips are designed to be crimped in place on outrigger monofilament and are ideal for tournament trolling applications.
