Favorite Rod
The SS1505 is the best surf rod I have ever owned - I can toss a 2 oz slab spoon over the third bar. It is so light- never in a rod holder, I fish this in my hands - and so crisp. You have to practice, let it load up until it gets rigid and you can turn on the power. Pairs up well with a Shimano Stella SW4000, I use a trigger release. This is a replacement, I stupidly tried to get the sections apart using tools. I had never bought from Alltackle before, took a chance - these rods are never easy to get, it took a bit, but I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up today. I will shop here again. This is a special rod - made from graphene and it is expensive but there's just not a rod nearly as enjoyable for me as this one.
