Star Plasma Rods

Star Fishing Tackle’s flagship series, Plasma, has been updated for 2014. Plasma rod blanks use two types of multi-directional graphite leading into a reinforced graphite butt weave, all tied together with Duratech technology. As the rod loads, power is transmitted from the butt to the tip. Plasma inshore rods feature Fuji® KL-H guides for tangle-free and deadly accurate casts. Fuji’s® SK2 reel seat is used to reduce weight and increase sensitivity. Light weight blank, sensitive action, extreme power and the finest components available, make Plasma Inshore the finest fishing rods on the market.

Plasma boat rods in both spinning and conventional models are designed for ultimate lifting power, yet so light you fish them all day. With blanks constructed with specially processed extra-high modulus graphite and Star’s patented Duratech technology butt weave, their performance had become legendary. Top quality components include Fuji graphite reel seats, Fuji® SIC concept guide system, carbon PowerButt® and EVA foregrips.

Extreme leverage is gained from the 5’2” length. Parabolic action with a unique tip section that loads and unloads with each jig motion which gives the lure more action and flutter during the retrieve.
